[BHV] race team meeting on Thursday 12-14-06

I proposed that we have a meeting  at Manzarris at 7:00 pm to discussed the
race team,  So far only myself, Paul, Bill, Brian and Doug have rsvp'd.
Unless more people respond I am inclined at this point to cancel the
meeting.

The race team to get off the ground also needed to raise $150.00 in dues.
So far I have collected $30 from the Carlson brothers and have commitment
from Paul, Bill, myself, Brian, & Dave Prugh, .  So that adds up to $115
committed.   We need at least 3 more people to commit to paying their dues.


My feeling at this point is wondering if we should abandon the idea of
having a formal race team.  I still plan to do some of the races but I am
feeling that maybe we don't have enough interest level in the club to
support a team.   I also wonder if there is also enough interst to have a
race.  Both these ideas are  a good but will fail if not enough people help
with the organization.
