Thanks to Bob Nunnink's hard work we are close to having a team.
Those who have signed up for the "team listerve" at http://groups-
beta.google.com/group/kingsbury-bhv-race-team?hl=en should be up to
date on status.

Initial casual interest on the part of 20-plus riders may not have
translated into quite enough committed interest to justify formation
of a formal USCF race team (we are currently at seven committed), so
if you would like to move things along in that direction with your
own "committed interest" or "casual interest potentially committed
interest" don't hesitate to post inquiries to either this or the
google listserve, or to Bobby mailto:rnunnink at stny.rr.com or to me
mailto:wlodico at stny.rr.com

Incidentally, all the interest so far has been from the XY half of
the population so far, but XX interest is also solicited. It will be
reciprocated.

Financial commitment amounts to commitment to pay the $15.00 bhv dues
next year, and if you want to race as a member of the team in USCF
events, purchase of a USCF annual license (about $60), and a team
jersey (which may turn out to be the bhv club jersey, about $70).
Racing at non-USCF "citizen" events doesn't require an annual
license. One day licenses are available in USCF events as a Cat 5
beginning racer, but you are by definition "unattached" and
technically not part of the team.

Non-financial commitment is to join up when possible for training,
racing, and general competitive high-sportsmanship index good times.
