That's how many riders we had on the road today in our fine Belgian  
weather.  What fun!

It was a group of seventeen for a while, then the hills broke us up,  
and the necessity of staying warm and not sitting around waiting  
pretty much kept us broken up.

My un-training regime seems to be working wonders.  With a whopping  
hundred miles or so in the last ten weeks, I'm up to my mid-February  
form way ahead of schedule.   I'm eagerly steeling myself for the  
disappointment and anxiety waiting for me in April and May.  (Will I  
ever get my fitness back?!?!?!  Or am I finally too old to get it  
back?!?!?!).

Maybe if we can squeeze another dozen or so rides like today's in  
between now and then, the ordeal of getting back in shape won't be  
quite so agonizing.
