Thanks for the heads up Dan, I'll be there.

Was there any other contact information for those that cannot attend the
meeting?

The mountain bike trails at the Waverly Glen are some of the best I've ever
ridden. The trial system at the Glen was largely developed and maintained
by the local mountain biking community. Several of the local riders have
put a lot of effort in keeping in touch with State Park officials in an
effort to secure trail rights in the park.

  Subject: [BHV] State Park Meeting

According to the Morning Times, N.Y. state parks officials will be
holding a public meeting regarding development plans for the Two
Rivers State Park in Waverly. The meeting will be held on wednesday,
Oct. 4 from 7-9pm at the Waverly High School auditorium.
I think it would be a good idea for as many of us bikers to show up
and add our input and support for this project.
This will be a chance to get info on how the park will be set up as
well as to show state and local officials that mountain biking is and
always should be an important part of the planning and development of
  this new state park.
I personally have enjoyed riding those trails for over ten years now.
I take great pleasure in knowing that at any time I can hop on my bike
and be on those great trails within minutes of leaving my house. I
would love for that to continue after the park is developed.
So, please plan on being there to show your support.
  Strength in numbers.

  Sincerely,
  Dan Van Allen
