Tour de Monterey is SATURDAY. To avoid further confusion, here is
the plan:

Saturday, 11 AM, I and others who have determined to start at 952 Oak
Hill Dr, North End of Wall Street, West Elmira, will leave and head
west on West Church St, NY 352 west.

We will from NY 352 head north on Winters Road at the light in Big
Flats, and turn at the T after the RR underpass. We will cross over
I 86 and at just about 11:30 we will reach the Dairy Barn, where we
will meet with whoever is there, and then continue north on Hibbard
Road.

The route will take us north and north then then we will eventually T
on Chambers Rd, make a left, and drop down to Beaver Dams. From
there it's north to another T and left to to Monterey, then to
Coopers Plains, back through Painted Post, then to Caton (or
alternatively straight back for those who've had enough). Expect 60
to 75 miles. A good bit of climbing.

If you are driving to the Dairy Barn start, note Jeff Maximiak's
parking note.

prefer meeting at Dairy Barn at 11:30 to with an 11AM Elmira
start. We could just as easily move things forward a half hour, if
time schedules so dictate, though efforts will have to be made to
communicate that change quickly and effectively.

Will the Dairy Barn accommodate parking several cars for those coming
from away locations (Ithaca, Montour, etc) who want to start/ finish
there?

Here is a suggestion. We congregate at the Dairy Barn at 11:00.
That will give people in the Horseheads/Big Flats and Elmira area a
chance to ride rather than drive to the start. I'm guessing the Tour
de Monterey extended is about 75 miles. Julie
