After two successful 70.3 events completed in 2006 and 2007, I can safely say that I am even more impressed with anyone who can complete the 140.6 event.

I can say with more conviction now that I may not be able to train for and finish the 140.6 event. Reasons vary from simple physical stamina to proper training and having the time to dedicate to it. From the focus it took to train for the half events, I'm not sure I can put anymore dedication in. I only realized this fully in recent months after finishing the second in July. My wife made a comment to the effect that now that I'm not completely absorbed with training, I've shown more and better attention to the other areas of my life. Not an uncommon reaction, but one that I hadn't lived before. Cool stuff.

Although I don't know you, I'd like to offer you a sincere "Great Job". This is even more impressive due to the competitive time in which you finsihed.
