Thanks everyone for the kind words!! I had a great time doing the race.
Unfortunately the back injury came out to haunt me in the run but it didn't
stop me from enjoying every minute of the experience. Steve, your daughter
probably saw me. I was the one who was smiling through the entire 10 hrs!!
My swim and bike were right where I wanted them and I felt great going into
the run, except for every step having a knife stabbed into my lower back.
That hurt a bit. I made the best of it and just signed up for another one
next year!!

I am looking forward to the 5 lakes ride this year and actually staying with
the group and not going up the east side of the lake!! (Although I heard the
road is a bit nicer this year)

Wow I didn't know Bob was doing the triathlon.  I would have asked my
daughter to cheer for him.  The course went right by her apartment in
Madison and she sat out front and watched and cheered.
