[BHV] Season goals and mileage

My primary goal this year was to get back into bike racing. Getting
some rides in with the Thursday group definitely helped me get back
closer to a level of bike fitness that I was looking for. I look
forward to more races and group rides next year with the club.
Unfortunately I did not get in any MTB races. I wanted to get in at
least one but the scheduling was too difficult.
I did not have any mileage goals. I usually use time as a goal for
workouts. Plus, I would probably be disappointed to the amount of
mileage accumulated on an indoor trainer as opposed to being outside :)
The race season is not quite over - still have some cyclocross races
coming up...
Looking forward, at this point here is what I have planned for the
upcoming 12 months:
Oct - Nov - Cyclocross, some running races
Dec - Feb - Nordic ski season (at least two ski races)
Feb - Jul - Ironman prep (Lake Placid), cycling races
Aug - Sep - More cycling races (Thater, etc)
Oct - 24 hr MTB race (two man relay)
