[BHV] Thursday eve ride 6PM?

According to current forecasts the weather is promising to be
cooperative on Thursday, with temps in the low 50's at 6PM, and
sleet, hail, and rain not having even chance of making an appearance
until around 8PM, by which time we should be done.
What is the plan? Something moderately challenging in the 30 mile
range? With a nice long climb to boost the old heart rate and
encourage the loss of fat and the increase of blood volume?
If so, I'm inviting everyone who is interested in testing their legs
on the brisk and hilly side of not so fast, maybe even on the tung
dragon side, wondering if they've got the racing genes lurking in
their DNA, to show up and give it a try. The reason is that I'm
likely to be in the back, and I'll be happy to take on the broom
wagon role and gather up any stragglers. You needn't worry about
getting lost. If you blow up and fall off the back of the group
you're trying to keep up with, and you wait for me, I'll get you
home. You might even enjoy the trip. Trust me. I know the way
home from everywhere.
This is a limited time offer. In four weeks I expect I'll be getting
my form back, and though I won't be able to keep up with the fastest
of the fast, I'm hoping to be passing off my lanterne rouge to
someone else.
