Don't forget, Deb and I are planning a sweet 40 mile ride on Aug 9th, a
saturday
at 4:30 pm. It'll start and finish in Burdett at Deb's place, the Gristmill
Cafe. We've linked
together the tastiest sections of her favorite cycling routes. Imagine if
you will, rural rolling scenery, moderate climbing, roads with almost no
traffic, scenic vistas, forrest roads, farms, vineyards, and a spectacular,
top of the world finish with a thrilling descent back to Burdett ! All at
pace that lends to joking and the telling of tall tales This is one of my
all time favorite routes, ever, anywhere ! And, of course the only way to
cap off an epic ride is with a delicious meal.
This is free event, not a commercial venture, it's a full blown fun time for
all of us to get together and enjoy a few miles, tip a glass, and spin a
fork. Open to all, riders and non riders alike.

Aug 9th, 4:30 pm at the Gristmill Cafe
