It sounds great, I wished they had picked another day though. Bike Tioga's big rides are on Saturday www.biketioga.org and there is a Citizens Time trial the same time/Day in Candor. It looks like it's an exhibit there to stay for awhile, so maybe a good opportunity for group rides.
BTW anyone interested in a Recumbent? No I haven't come back over to the "Upright" bikes, although I did resurrect my Vintage Peugeot PSV-10 (bought from Paul when the shop was in West Elmira) and have ridden it some this summer. I've got a 2005 Volae Tour Short wheel base http://www.volaerecumbents.com/2007/volae_tour.php That needed a home. The component specs are a bit downgraded from the current model (cheaper drivetrain). It's a medium frame and will fit a rider ~5'8 -6'2". It has about 1000 miles on it, and doesn't really need anything.
It rides nice, and has a pretty easy learning curve. I just have too many bikes right now. I'm looking for $700, but might consider a trade for a decent road bike. If anyone is interested my cell number is 607-372-2431
See you all on the road
Denny

Quite a few years ago, on a rainy winter weekend, we took the kids to the Discovery Center in Binghamton, and it was well worth the trip. Now it may be even more worth the trip. --Bill L
