The notes from MapMyRide can be copied and pasted from the web page to 
MS Word or Excel for editing.  They will need a great deal of editing to 
come up to the Lodico standard.

I agree the datasets suffer from noise problems.  The algorithms also 
have to choose a threshold for what constitutes "climbing", so they all 
differ in the results.
