Bill
I saw you guys roll past the shop on your way home, glad to see you safely
back in town.
We waited a while at Chemung but then thought you may have taken the shorter
loop or had a mechanical. It was Sheehan who finally pulled the plug on
waiting for you ;-)
Sure was fun to see some of the ol' crew again, even if it was only their
backsides we saw far up the road. The Reeds bit on the Giro theme hook line
and sinker and upheld their Ferrari-ish nic-name, One Speed Reeds ! There
was an on road ruling that starts that they must submit their tandem to the
shop mechanics before the easy-ish rides so that the high limit screw on the
front derailleur can be turned down a few turns in order to keep the chain
off the big ring !
The spaghetti and hospitality at Manzari's was, as usual, above catagory !
The new fee for dinner and drinks is ten bucks, eleven if you're a big
tipper ! And, by popular demand, the Thursday tradition will happen again
next week :-)
