[BHV] Thursday" last day of winter" Ride, easierish

[Kingsbury's Cyclery]

   It's true, such a sad day, the last chance to use our tights, jackets, shoe covers, long gloves, etc, this year. Starting tomorrow we'll pack away our winter gear and spend weeks on end riding in harmful sunshine and dangerously warm temperatures. Uneven tan lines and carrying two water bottles are just a few of the unpleasantries that await us after today. But don't worry, we still have one more day of fantastic riding ! For today, the weatherman is calling for temps in the low 50s, completely overcast, maybe even some drizzle at ride time !  So pump up those tires and pile on those layers of expensive cycling gear that we love so dearly and come on down !  :-)


How does Latta Brook, regroup at the top, turn right,  left onto Hardscrabble, right on Draht Hill, go over the top ( we'll be near the cloud base ) and take the first left down Stiles Rd. At the T., folks looking for more glorious gloomy riding can take a left and loop back around Lowman, Wellsburg, Maple Ave. Those too sad to see the winter season end might take a right, for they may need to shorten up the route and return home over Jeruselum Hill., where, as they overheat on the climb they'll think to themselves, " I won't be able to unzip this zipper for another six months". Then as they solemly grind away, the only sound to be heard will be the duet of heavy breathing and the splashing of tears to the pavement. Such sweet sorrow. 

So, let's ride tonight before it's too late, last chance for a real ride !!
