Hello Everyone!

We've finally reached our goal and have over 500 bikes for shipment 
to Ghana! Last weekend we had a great turnout of volunteers and by 
the end of the day over 400 bikes were prepared for shipment. What's 
left now is the BIG DAY, which means we will pack the container, 
which is coming this Saturday, April 4th at 9 a.m. We're doing 
what's called a "live load" where the driver waits as we load. We 
pay him $75/hour to wait for us while we try to cram as many bikes as we possibly can into the container. It seems to take about 6-8 hours from start to finish.

So come on down and participate in the culmination of this project! 
We're going to have hundreds of bikes to move around, ogle, hoist up 
into the container and maybe a few left that need their handlebars 
turned and pedals removed or that need to be stripped for parts. 
There will also be food!

Date: This Saturday, April 4th
Time: 9:00 a.m. until the container is full.
Location: 708 E. Seneca St. (between Stewart and Eddy)

Also, if you know anyone who still wants to donate a bicycle, they 
can do so between now and Saturday morning. After the container 
ships out, we will no longer be able to accept donations for Ghana! 
We will have nowhere to put them. So encourage people to donate as 
soon as they can!
