Weather is looking good for tomorrow...
WHEN: Marcellus Park, Marcellus, NY @ 6pm (we roll out by 6:15pm).
FORMAT: We'll roll an easy 5 miles to the start line, stop at the line,
and start racing. We usually complete two 4-lap races with a "neutral"
lap after the finish of the first race. Riders should continue around
the course back to the start/finish line on Gardner Road and stop on the
start/finish line to wait for stragglers. If the leaders are finishing,
and you just passed the start/finish line, turn around because they
probably won't wait that long to start the next race. At most when the
leaders get to the start/finish line, you've got about 5 minutes to get
back over there. After the last race, we roll back to the park.
WHO: Seriously, I mean ALL categories and abilities. Come here to learn
how to race. It's free, and your ego doesn't have to take as big of a
hit when things don't work out like Lance at the top of L'Alpe D'huez.
In fact, you get to try again after the first race! If we get enough
riders to justify it, or any riders want to do it, we'll have an A and a
B race.
WHY: Because that course is just fun. It's great training, and it's fun.
DISCLAIMER: This ride is unsanctioned and unaffiliated. Ride at your own
risk. You are personally responsible for following all traffic laws.
