[Graceful Gardens, Mark and Amanda Shenstone]

Nine brave souls warmed up between lightening 
strikes and downpours. Some of us tried to escape 
home (me!) with a car ride from Mike only to have 
the others say "oh its gone by" We headed back to 
the start. Mike who has been sick acted as 
official time keeper. With more threatening skies 
we headed out into a strong headwind at 30 second 
intervals. About 2 miles in, a soupy warm downpour 
drenched us all. By the 5 mile turnaround, the sun 
was peeking out again. Don Fitterer on his proper 
TT machine had one of the few PRs of the night. 
Still we all had a safe and excellent workout.
