It's hot. Hot and dry. That's ok if you're... uh... well... but not if 
you're at a cyclocross race.

I went to a 'cross race today--one of the farther ones in the area: 
about 40 minutes away. Don't have a bike yet, so I was there to check 
out the scene and take a few pictures.

Believe it or not, it rained today. For a few minutes somewhere just 
east of Los Angeles. I happened to be there.
