FLCC> Cross Updates

My son Adam and I went to Gloucester, MA this weekend for rounds 1 and 
2 of the US Grand Prix of Cyclocross.  Both of us finished our races Sat. 
and Sun. without getting lapped.  The big news for Central New Yorkers 
was Dan Timmerman's performance in the elite men's field, which included 
every big name in US cyclocross as well as Chris Horner.  Dan was called 
up to start in the second row in Saturday's race and showed that was 
justified by finishing 13th.  Sunday he did even better, finishing 9th!  
Congratulations!

Don't forget the next race in the CNY series is the Syracuse Grand Prix this 
Sunday.  We tweaked the course a bit more but didn't touch the hill, even 
though it's less sandy than it used to be.  Masters, women, and juniors 15-
18 race at 11:00 a.m., juniors 10-14 at 11:55, and open men at 12:25.  Full
