Sunday enthusiasts,

I'm sorry for not publicizing this Sunday's ride, which was planned as a
joint ride with the Onondaga Cycling Club. This is a truly wonderful
route that offers us great new riding right in our usual riding
territory -- the Tioughnioga River Valley. The ride has a 43-mile option
for those who don't want to do the full 76 miles.

Meet at 10:00 am at Dwyer Memorial Park in Preble.

Dwyer Park is on NY 281 north of Homer, almost to Prebble. Go to
Cortland, take 281 north. The entrance to the park will be on the right
about 5 miles past the intersection with NY 41.

The ride heads east on Health Camp Rd to follow the Tioughnioga upstream
toward Truxton. Then, it turns south along the Taylor Valley to
Cincinnatus, then Willet and Whitney Point, whereupon it traces the
Tioughnioga upstream to Cortland. This ride has long stretches of very
gently rolling terrain, but a few good hills here and there.

The OCC has printer-friendly versions of the map on their website.
