Eli (the 13 year old who has been hanging around) would like to do a century ride this fall. Is there one coming up that would include riders going his pace (somewhere in between Tuesday races and Thursday slow ride night)? Mom would provide sag wagon.

Weather: skies clear, warm (mid-60s?), no wind
Traffic: out-bound relatively heavy for Coddington; Tioga Transport van no.
62, white, square and high-bodied honked loudly at each rider it passed, but
gave each cyclist at least 36" clearance

Except for a few T-storms Saturday, weather is looking good. Tour de
Shunk, Five Lakes and Steak around the corner.
Curious about interest in a diners club century (between metric and
English) preferably Sunday. Pace likely in the middling of not so
fast; figure not quite brisk and hilly, but almost briskish.
Suggestions: the Addison 80, a scenic 80 miler that takes you along
the Canisteo, then up several fairly gentle climbs over the ridges
between Addison and Bath and Avoca. Diner stop in Avoca. Starts in
Addison.
Mark Sheehan's Mansfield PA 90, a little more harshly contoured, and
very scenic and nice except for one short wide shouldered stretch of
US 6 into Mansfield. Diner stop in Mansfield. Starts in Emira.
Other suggestions will be entertained.
Post interest, questions, etc.
Bill Lodico
