That was Jeremy Gardner, who is a strong cross rider. And he did
indeed have a very soft rear tire on Synder.

Huh? There were no short cuts taken. We went all the way to the end
of Hurd, and did the same course as everyone else.
Rhino took off on 79, just past Thomas. I did tempo to catch him
just onto Snyder, with Charles on my wheel. I rode up next to Rhino
and said "You want some more? Well here's some more!". Then I stood
up, accelerated, and passed him. Then he passed me back and dropped
me. So much for trash talking on the final climb.
Fun race though.
See you all off road for the cross season.
And yes, there will be an Ithaca cross race. Stay tuned for details.
