Just a short note to say what a great time I had circum-cycling
Seneca today with the "moderate" group: Cliff, Tom, Alex, Misty,
Ritchie, John D and John F, and Lula. Add me and that makes nine, a
nice moderately sized group.

One of the high points for me was lunch and conversaton on the deck
of Parker's in Geneva, where i was allowed, even encouraged, to quaff
a pint o' Guinness. (First time ever midway through a bike ride. It
didn't seem to do me any harm.) By way of low points there were a few
grim moments on our ascent from Willard to Lodi, but nothing the
promise of a root beer float wasn't able to get us over.

Except for John Dennis, who did one of his magic disappearing acts
(we expect to find out where to in his upcoming ride report) and John
Fessenden, who had to drop us after Lodi so he could get back to
Horseheads before too late (something like 130 miles today for John),
we managed to keep each other in sight (even in conversational
earshot) just about all the way.

So, thanks, you-all. 'Twas an awful lot of fun.
