Hobit,

For the edification of the non-erudite, exactly where was the pain? If its where I think, I can understand why the nights were feckless.

This is for all the ladies out there...

Once upon a time there was a princess who loved her road bike. Except it had one major flaw- the seat. For many dark, stormy, feckless nights her joy when riding was a literal pain in the you know where. Like so many things in life, the seat seemed perfect at first. But the more experienced she got at riding and the lower on her bars she went, the less enchanted with it she became. So she started rounding her back to relieve the pressure. But this only made matters worse, instead of discomfort in her unmentionables, now her back hurt, followed by her neck. Not to mention the loss of style points for riding contorted. The prince of the kingdom brought her endless seats to try, to no avail. She started to feel like Goldilocks, one was too hard, another too soft, too wide, too narrow...and on and on. She was on the verge of relenguishing her dream when one day, alas, she finally found a seat worthy of loving- the fi'zi:k vitesse. She was suitably skeptical at first as she warmed up with hands on the brakehoods. But as she moved into the drops and then the aerobars- it was as if she had discovered heaven on two wheels. The seat was magic- the flatter her back and lower she was, the better it felt. The princess was so overjoyed she was compelled to spread the news far across the land to princesses everywhere. The end.
