FLCC> Looking for suggestions and help THurs time trial and race group ride

Hello,

I am interested in some more info on the Thursday time trial.  I am new to 
the area and to this sort of thing.

I know you time yourself (I probably wont be able to time myself but think 
it will be fun just the same)  but am wondering do people usually warm up 
for the time trial.   How do you know where the end is and where exactly do 
you park, I didn't understand that on the website.

Any other suggestions are much appreciated.


Also I would like to do a C race but would first like to do a group ride to 
see if I am ready.  Might anyone know of a group ride of about 30 miles that 
has a good pace to it but not like an A or B race pace.

Reason is I only have a bike with aero bars, I know never to ride aero in a 
group ride, and want to see were I am as far as speed before I go out and 
buy a road bike.
