Tomorrow evening the State Parks people are holding the first hearings
on their master plan for the Black Diamond Trail. Please try to attend
so that the officials see it as a project with lots of support in the
community.
WHERE: the Borg Warner Room East in the Tompkins County Public Library
in Ithaca.
WHEN: 5:30-6:45 pm -- Information Session
7:00 pm -- Public Hearing -- sign in for this so that there
is a record of people attending.
There is lots of info on this trail project at http://blackdiamondtrail.org/
The BDT will be the major component of a great trail system connecting
all the state parks (Taughannock, Treman, Buttermilk) as well as linking
to Cass and Stewart, the Farmers Market, etc. Let's make this happen!
The website should answer most questions, but if you need more info,
email info at blackdiamondtrail.org and we'll try to find answers.
