FLCC> EMERGENCY AT SWAN DROME!!

This is an ALL POINTS BULLETIN!!!

 

Emegency conditions exist and all club members are requested to meet at
the end of Glenn's driveway at 3pm today!

 

Please bring your snow shoes, skis, and any rather large or heavy
friends and loved ones. The Argo is broken (an Elk bikini bottom was
found stuffed into the exhaust pipe), and Dan Karig's snowmobile was
burned by irate skiers when he tried to put skate tracks at HH. 

 

If all 200 members and an average of 2 additional conscripts show up I
am sure we can have the Swandrome back in shape. I figure that half of
us own snow shoes and I know that Glenn has over 300 pair of snow shoes
in stock. The majority of us can drag our gravity challenged friends
around on the grooming sled. It should only take 2 to 3 hours of
trudging back and forth to get the tracks in excellent condition for
skating. If we start at 3pm the tracks should be ready by 6pm. 

 

Sandy is on the fence concerning whether I should be on snow shoes or on
the grooming sled. At 185lbs I certainly qualify as gravity challenged.
I offer my snow shoes to those who have been training and controlling
their caloric intake.

 

Charles H; I'll hold the kids on the groom sled for you and Linnie. This
afternoon will be a great test to see how Linnie likes her Valentine
present.

 

See everyone at 3pm. Glenn says he'll have 50 gallons of hot chocolate
ready.

P.S. I also heard that Gillian Sharp will be at Glenn's to see how all
the guys are feeling after she led the HH Tuesday night foray. I heard
through the grape vine that it is a good thing that we have new snow
because the trails were pretty icy from all the dragging tongues
attempting to keep up with Gillian!
