FLCC> Setting the record straight - Swandrome

It is Wednesday, so on many people's calendars it is already penciled in as
Swandrome night. It would be terribly ironic if people didn't go skiing
because of too much snow ! So if your vehicles can make it up the hill,
plan to join us tonight as usual.

Don is correct in noting that the various motorized devices we typically
use for grooming the ski trails all happen to be incapacitated, so there
won't be freshly groomed perfect corduroy for a bit. But it doesn't take
very many skiers to set a nice bunch of classical tracks. From what I hear,
if we get Gillian and Andy to lead, and then throw in Ernie and Jack behind
them, the tracks should be rather pleasant for the rest of us following along.

It is true that I have several sets of snowshoes to loan out to interested
parties, and (advertisement coming up....) I have many pairs of snowshoes
for sale in the bike shop, from Sherpa, Redfeather, Garneau, and Northern
Lights. How useful !

The driveway may disappear when the wind starts to blow, but the house is
open to all, and there will be some (not 50 gallons) cocoa and tea
available to thaw you out before you head on home later in the evening.

Later,

Glenn
