FLCC> Swandrome conditions

Over the weekend I dragged the skate grooming sled around most of the trails. 
There wasn't much snow, but the idea was to create a packed and somewhat 
smooth base that would make the trails skiable with little additional snow. Sunday 
a couple of us tried skiing on the tracks (and elsewhere in the woods). The 
best I can say is that it was nice to finally get back on skis in the snow, but 
there still just isn't enough snow to really ski for training or pleasure. We 
had a dusting late last night, but not enough to change the conditions. If 
you're desperate for a ski-fix, grab your rock skis and head up to the Swandrome 
(Swan Cycles) on Mt. Pleasant. I'll groom things again as soon as there is 
enough snow, and post to the lists when it's truly skiable.
