The most compelling statistic in this article—97% of the 225 cyclists who
died from accidents in NYC in 1996-2005 were not wearing helmets—is in the
last paragraph of this article.  I’m thinking of attaching a long blond wig
to bush out from under the back of my helmet.  (haha).   John
