Stan,

You're the guy that provides all the action on Coddington. Without you,
not much to report. And, how will you get in shape if you keep skipping
the training races?

1st B race: Some of the usual Bs went with the As so we had a small
field and a slow pace as we went down White Church. Sara stayed toward
the back of the pack despite her advantage of having four legs. Charles
(from B'dale) and I motored hard up the hill on Coddington and after
that there were seven of us at the front and that's how it stayed to the
finish. I don't know who won.

2nd B race: Don, and Dave H. returned to the Bs and Abe decided to ride
with us after doing a TT between the A and B groups for the first race
(he belatedly took off after the As and didn't catch them and we didn't
catch him). Don, Abe, and another guy I don't know (but should) got a
gap on W.C. which four of us closed down at the turn. The same three
opened another cap on the hill, but the unknown guy came off. At the
top, I was close enough to Don and Abe to think about bridging, but I
had Alex, Dave, and the unknown guy nearby, so I thought we stood an
excellent chance of mowing them down. It was not to be. At times we
seemed to narrow the gap, but Abe and Don made it stick--and the wind
was pretty tough on that stretch. I heard that Abe won.

Fun races!

Jack
