FLCC> Sunday ride and thanks

I didn't have everyone's individual email addresses to thank them for the 
help, so I thought I'd send this to the list.

The Sunday ride into Candor, then a Straits Corners/Halsey Valley loop 
started out great.  We had a big group (I think 15 at the start on East 
Hill, plus we met up with another group in Candor) and pushed pretty hard 
down Coddington to 96B and into Candor.  Keith showed impeccable timing by 
catching a flat just before the convenience store stop in Candor.  I, on the 
other hand, decided to catch a flat about 2 minutes after leaving the 
convenience store stop.  Gary, Stuart, Chris, and someone else whose name I 
didn't catch stopped to help me out.  I somehow took a pretty big slice out 
of my rear tire on something I didn't see, and it was repaired with the help 
of a powerbar wrapper between the tube and tire.  I was nervous about how 
well that would hold, and so I headed back Crumtown Rd. without the Halsey 
Valley loop.

Hopefully the last half of the ride went as well as the first - I wanted to 
thank Gary, Stuart, Chris, and (sorry, didn't catch your name) for stopping 
for me and let them know the powerbar wrapper did hold up over Crumtown and 
back to Ithaca, and now I've got a new set of tires that hopefully won't 
have this problem.
