The Swan Cycles/FLCC folks did very well at this weekend's Lake Fest Race. 

In the 25 miler, Bill Erickson got second overall, with Don Fitterer hot 
on his heels for third.  Both won their age categories.  LiLynn took 
second in the women's field.  Mark Shenstone brought home a trophy and 
Jack R. wasn't too far off of the podium either. 

In the 50, I took the overall (with a little luck and a lot of help from 
Glenn), Glenn was third, Andy M (ex-officio FLCC) was up there as well 
along with Doug Carlson (last years winner). 

It amazes me that the Rotary continues to put this event on every year 
even though the Lake Festival sort of died a couple years back.  It's a 
nice race on beautiful roads (and how many 50 mile circuits have you 
ridden lately?) and pretty well organized.  It ought to be better 
attended, but I think they don't advertise it much.
