FLCC> Lake como ride on Sunday

Having done Skaneateles (41A) several times, I set out with a friend last
summer to find this infamous Lake Como that I had evidently been "spitting
distance" from on several occasions. I add to the consensus that it does,
in fact, exist.

The thing that struck me about the ride, however, is having no memory of
pedaling my bike from the Lake to Moravia (we started in Groton). Has
anyone else noticed this local realignment of the gravity vector? This is
very different from most of my experiences elsewhere in this neck of the
woods.

Ali and I will be moving to Terre Haute, IN this August. One of the things
that we noticed (other than having no hills) is that anything large enough
to collect water is called a "lake". I'm going to miss our REAL lakes...
Wait, is this the way people up on Lake Ontario talk about our measly finger
lakes?

Best,

Mike

I'm ruining the humor, but it is amazing what you can find on-line:

At least for this part of New York, Yahoo's pics seem to have better
quality than Google's.

You can even count the cottages...
