For some reason, unknown even by me, I decided to go to the Coddington TT
last night after not doing it for more than two years. I also don't know
why I decided to sandwich the TT into a long ride, pedaling out to
Coddington from Ringwood, then home after the TT.

Since my route home took me up White Church rather than back to the parking
lot, I did not report my time to the official time taker. So I will report
it here: 25:08.*

* I spent too much time looking at the weather before leaving home to be
sure I wouldn't get rained on, so I had to really motor over to the Codd.
Rd. community center, tiring myself out.

*During the ride to Codd., I got poured on, hailed on, and poured on two
more times-all within a one mile radius of downtown Brooktondale (I am sure
that the Mother of Spawn of Barker, Witch of Brooktondale, had nothing to do
with this).

*I got psyched out by the sight of Ernie and Glenn bayling out. They were
leaving in a car as I rolled into the community center. I figured they knew
something bad was going to happen. This is the second time I've heard of
Ernie being intimidated in two days.

*No aero equipment.

*A Tyvek rain jacket billowing out of my jersey pocket like a sail on a
schooner, which I might as well have been using, given the amount of water
on the road.

*A 3" wide fender over my rear wheel.

*I hadn't shaved my legs.

*Oh yeah, almost forgot-I really stink at time trialing.
