Ano, we have relatives in Yardley, PA which is North of the city. It might
be a bit of a hike to ride North but if you drive up and take the
Yardley/Newtown exit off 95 North, you can park in a number of public lots
along the Delaware and ride on some great backroads. Even river road is a
great ride. I've even run across Dick Cook on rides down there.
Some in the group know my lust for great bike shops and there is a little
Swan Cycles-like shop that is just North of Trenton, on the Joisey side of
the river, called Wheelfine Imports. It is almost directly across the river
from New Hope, PA just up the hill to the East. The owner is super nice and
the shop is stuffed to the rafters with all things cycling leaning to the
HEAVY side of racing. Anyone that rides tubulars all year round is OK by
me. It's worth the trip.
Had a great time Tuesday night. Great to be back. Great to see everyone.
