	The finish line crew did a great job of picking hundreds of 
finishers.....there were a couple of large groups which crossed the line 
"en masse" which made getting all of the numbers with perfect accuracy very 
difficult. (And in this case apparently there were too many riders to catch 
every number, especially those hidden by vests or pinned on the wrong side, 
or upside down...)  I have always urged riders that if they want to 
minimize the likelihood that they are missed at the finish line, that they 
should finish alone, ahead of the field !  Perhaps Bill needs this 
reminder... :-)       Or did he not really cross the line - opting instead 
to go straight to the CTB Cookies instead of climbing the final pitch 
?  Such situations as this are one of the reasons why we put the entry fee 
money into food for everyone rather than prize money for a few.
