Slow/easy: 10:30 am, Mecklenburg

This Sunday's ride takes us through the delightful loop around Cayuta 
Lake. The regular ride starts at the Tompkins County Professional 
Buildings parking lot that is just a few yards past the entrance to the 
hospital on NY 96 North (that's the Trumansburg Rd or, coming out of the 
city, Cliff Street; i.e., a continuation of Buffalo Street heading 
west.) The 40 mile ride goes to Mecklenburg, then south around Cayuta 
Lake and back to Perry City before turning back toward the start for a 
total around 40 miles.

This ride has especially good possibilities for a short and gentle 
version: Meet in Mecklenburg at 10:30 am. There's a parking area just 
where NY 228 meets NY 79.  From there, follow the route map for about 25 
miles of fairly gentle riding that includes the very prettiest of the 
course.

The weather is a tiny bit iffy still; but the odds are fairly good we'll 
get a nice ride in.
