I'm sending this out again - I'm going to keep pestering until we 
fill our volunteer needs.   Please help stop this needless junk mail 
and volunteer!  If you're looking to get some exercise, consider 
riding out to the course for the day.  ;-)


Hi all,
The ESSG are going to be held again this year at Virgil/Greek 
Peak.  There are 3 cycling events - 2 TTs and a Road race.  They will 
all be raced on the same day (as opposed to the 2-day event in years 
past).  The Race will be held on Saturday 9th of June, 2007.

Unfortunately, I will be speaking at a meeting in Seattle on the 
morning of the event, and therefore will transfer the actual running 
of the event to capable and willing accomplices.  However, I am 
looking for volunteers to help with registration, marshalling and 
start-line and finish-line work.  Additionally, I will request that a 
volunteer group organize a course sweep during the week of the 
4th-8th of June.  I will hopefully provide complete instructions for 
volunteers once I have some idea of the numbers I will be working with.

Please email me directly (mr89 at cornell.edu) if you or somebody you 
know can volunteer for the event.  If you are riding, have a spouse 
"pull duty"!  I checked the local racing calendar - there are no 
regional events (Balloon Festival in Albany area is closest), so 
there's no excuse not to help out. :)
