Well, it's time to take a poll, I guess. The last while there have been 
lots of messages with photos in them or flyers or long texts and 
attachments -- and the list software has bounced them on account of 
excessive size. The max currently is 80 KB, which can carry a huge lot 
of text and even a nice photo. I increased that just today to 14oKB and, 
sure enough, the next message was bigger than that. So ---

There is a limit on the size of messages because some people have slow 
connections and it takes too long to download big files; some people 
have quotas on email and big messages use up too much quota. Some people 
just want messages to be kept to simple text so they don't get to occupy 
too much of their lives.

Please weigh in if you have any views on the matter: Are bigger msgs ok? 
If so, how big? 200kb?  How about 1 MB? Unlimited?
