FLCCers,

The last ride of October is a new one on the club repertoire, Prospect
Valley -- Shindagin Hollow. Those with the skinniest tires may want to
swap for something just a bit sturdier, but most will have no trouble
with the bit of gravel road on this route. The fall scenery is well
worth it.

The start is on East Hill by the HSBC bank at 10:00 am.

Riders who want a smaller serving can still get the best morsels by
starting from Brooktondale. I've parked at the post office on a Sunday.
That would get the ride down to around 25 miles.

The ride is posted on the FLCC website as Prospect Valley -- Shindagin
Hollow,
http://flcycling.org/flcc/touring/rides/cuesheet/prospectshindagin.htm
and there is an elevation profile and map with it.

Weather is supposed to be typical fall -- chilly, chance of rain -- but
pretty perfect for a not-too-long ride through the swirls of fallen
leaves. To paraphrase, "I shan't be gone long; you come too."
