FLCC> Bike lane for uphill state st?

Hi all,

I thought I saw in that proposal something about "consolidation of parking 
to the south side of the street".  Does that imply that there'd be a lane of 
"parking spaces" between the bike lane and the curb?  Marked for parking on 
the uphill side only?  (Or worse yet, that the parking lane overlaps the 
bike lane?)

I'd favor "share the road" awareness sorts of things over that setup... bike 
lane turns into "car door opening lane".

I also agree that above Mitchell Street is a bigger problem... I use 79 when 
I ride to Ithaca and back home (near Binghamton), and in the 45 mile stretch 
of road I use, that's the scariest part (from a car traffic perspective).
