In response to the confusion over his use of the terms "chips and soda" Eagen replied "What is this confusion? I agree with Jean-Louis Cailhol of Nancy, France - It's awful. It's ugly. It harms the Pink Slipper and sports in general. In any event, it's all just a circus, and the circus will carry on. Chips is a delightful snack food, crisp and crunchy, like the way I ride a bicycle and Soda is the name of the rabbit who lives in my backyard. He is sweet and bubbly, like a soda. And he is refreshing, too."

I figured that Stan's reply would report that "panini" are definitely 
not performance-enhancing!  However, the mysterious "chips and soda" 
- what exactly did Jim mean by these?
