For those of you who are interested and thus far unaware, my 18 month fall
warm down/spring training session on a 120 pound bike recently came to a
conclusion just outside of Trumansburg, on Searsburg Rd, exactly where it
started. The training program included 12460 miles of riding as well as
cross training such as Spanish learning and marathon bean taco eating to
increase pedal driving body mass. For further details on the first 11 months
of the patent pending "Kidney Training Session" you can visit

I expect to see you all next Tuesday... was anyone out this Tuesday, I've
seen no comments on the deft non-racing tactics that were employed.
I also seem to recall that a frequent complaint from Terrible B's Century
attempts had to do with excessive summer heat. I propose that anyone else
who has been engaged in, is planning to start, or is thinking about planning
to start a high mileage spring training program join me not this weekend,
but the following to vanquish with calm determination the aforementioned
route (one day or the other, as weather and our varied schedules dictate). I
might simultaneously ask to those who know... can the current cue sheet be
followed as is? Google maps seems to suggest that some of the roads don't
exist, or aren't where they should be, but despite google knowing
everything... sometimes they don't.
I hope you're all well, and I look forward to seeing you, it's been a long
year and a half.
Daniel
