We're going to sweep and paint the hazards on the Hollenbeck course on
Friday, April 25. Meet at Hollenbeck's cider mill at 5:45 PM. I'll
leave Ringwood Road around 5:30 and can take a few folks. If you get
there late, we will have started the course in a clockwise direction
(down Rt.392 toward Parker St.).

I'll have tools but if you have heavy duty push brooms or flat shovels,
please bring them. Sounds like a paver would come in handy too. Don
Tenkate, can you get one from the highway department? Don Fitterer, we
won't be needing your chain saw--sorry. I'm going to try to get a few
55 gallon drums of orange paint and an industrial sprayer from Seneca
Supply to mark all the holes and broken pavement. By the time we're
done, the whole road will be solid orange.

If we get done soon enough, we might do a short ride, so bring your
bike.

This is your chance to get back some of that cash you've been dumping
into Swan Cycles, who will generously be providing the apres sweep pizza
at an establishment to be determined (probably Todi's in Dryden).

At the risk of sounding like Twinkie, get out there and volunteer or
we'll kill you.

Jack
