In Aurora, NY, which is up the east side of the lake
about 30 miles from Ithaca (depending on where you
start) has a great coffee shop with wonderful
sandwiches and red pepper soup. It's on the east side
of the road just before you get to Wells. There are
other restaurants there and a nice view.
Cortland is just around 20 miles away if you want to
go to Doug's Fish Fry.
If you take the direct route, Moravia is a bit under
30 miles. There's an ice cream shop with standard far
south of town. In town there's a pizza place on the
S/W corner and a sandwich shop on the N/W corner.
However, if you want an actual FLCC Sunday ride
experience, you need to go into the supermarket on the
N/E corner in Moravia, buy a microwave burrito and a
Gatoraid, then sit on the concrete next to the propane
tank and talk about bike parts.
Trumansburg is a little too close, but there are
wonderful places to eat there. Ride up elm to
Mecklenberg, then circle around to Trumansburg, and
eat at the PourHouse. Wayne
