The annual spring cycling seminar series will take place each Sunday in
March. All seminars will take place in the the Olin Hall (Chemical
Engineering) Lounge, room 128, starting at 10:00AM. Most seminars last
about 2 hours. Refreshments will be provided. If the weather cooperates on
some weekends, there will be rides afterwards, with opportunities to
practice what we preach...

Tentative schedule is as follows: Mar. 2 Bike Fit and related
topics. Mar.9 Physiology and Training. Mar. 16 Riding skills, techniques
and tactics. Mar. 23 (Easter Sunday) topic to be determined. Mar.
30 Touring tales and topics.

We will have guest speakers for several topics, so although the topics may
be similar to seminars you have attended in the past, there will no doubt
be fresh material and points of view. Plan to come to learn some new things
and to get psyched about the coming season. I hope to have at least one of
our local riders who have spent time in the top levels of the pro ranks
come to share with us what life is like at the top of the sport. They
should be able to put the training, nutrition, and tactics into a
perspective that the rest of us only imagine.

If you have special topics of interest, please let me know and we'll see if
we can address them, especially on that 4th weekend.
