There were six intrepid souls skiing in the cold at the Swandrome Wednesday 
night. Classical tracks had been groomed and aside from a few small wet 
spots (which led mostly to ice-clumps on ski pole tips) the conditions were 
quite good. A 4-man train of Melnychenko, Rueckheim, DeLisa and Swan 
steamed along almost non-stop for over an hour with no "slogging" required.

With an additional inch or two of snow last night, and the wind filling in 
the low, wet spots (which probably aren't very wet now after a night of 
sub-zero temps) I expect conditions to be excellent for another outing 
tonight. With warm weather on the horizon I figure we better ski our brains 
out on the snow while we still can. I plan to be on the tracks again after 
5:00 tonight.  Join me !
