It is the beginning of the spring semester at Cornell. That means Al
Gantert's triathlon class (and another more recreational one at Helen
Newman) is starting up with a number of people looking for bikes to get
them through the class. I always get a number of desperate requests for "a
used bike of any sort that only costs a few hundred dollars" for when the
weather gets good enough that the classes ride outdoors. So.......
If you have a used bike you want to sell, let me know what the bike is,
roughly how much you want to sell it for, what size it is (or what size
person is likely to fit it) and how I or some other person can contact you.
When these people call me up I can point appropriate ones your way. I have
already had a number of general customers in the bike shop asking about
used bikes (that's what happens when we get warm days during the winter...)
so I welcome you to send me info on bikes etc. you'd like to sell, so I can
post it on the bulletin board at the bike shop, allowing me to help them
find what they seek. I believe the other local bike shops have similar
bulletin boards, so you may want to post info at the other bike shops as well.
