FLCC> Texas Hollow Ride Notes

Hi!
I just returned from a WET ride to T'burg with a group of six riders, 
and they told me about this list.  Someone noted a write-up on the 
Texas Hollow ride last week, and my two flat tires.
After reading the article, I need to clarify one thing:  It was NOT 
Gary at the Bike Rack that proclaimed the original tires on the 
Raleigh were OK (My mistake, I gave John the wrong first name).  It 
was Glenn Swan!  In Glenn's defense, I did get about 250 miles on the 
tires (these were no doubt the tires that originally came with the 
bike) before last Sunday, and they probably would have done better if 
I had 100 psi pressure in them at the start of the ride instead of 
only 80 psi...rookie mistake.  The pothole on Iradell was so bad...so 
bad that it bent the wheel slightly.
Anyway, thanks to all that helped me back on the road last 
week.  Talk about a quick pit crew!  I now have new tires, and know 
how to use the tire changing levers I bought!
